Radiator Hose Replacement

The radiator acts as a heat exchange unit. Coolant containing absorbed engine heat is pumped into the radiator tubes, and cooler air flows in through the grille and over the tubes to remove the heat. Once the heat is removed, the coolant leaves the radiator and recirculates through the engine. The radiator is connected to the cooling system by two rubber hoses.

The hoses are made from toughened, reinforced rubber and are securely connected to the system by metal clamps. As time passes, the heat and pressure, combined with the rubber naturally degrading, causes the hoses to become less flexible. Inflexible hoses will crack, and coolant can leak out. If this happens, your engine temperature will rapidly increase. We fix this problem by replacing the hoses, and your engine temperature will return to normal.

Battery Testing

The battery provides the initial electrical charge that starts the combustion process. When you push the start button, a powerful charge is sent from the battery to the starter solenoid. The solenoid powers the starter, which cranks the engine, beginning the combustion process. As time passes, the battery loses electricity storage capacity as its chemicals naturally break down.

The average working life of a battery is three to five years before it wears out and needs replacement. Our technicians test your battery by hooking it up to our computerized battery tester. This machine subjects the battery to various tests to determine its remaining strength. If the battery is healthy, we advise testing it again in a year. Wheel Balancing

Tires work most effectively when they’re correctly balanced and also suffer less wear and tear. Your wheels are correctly balanced when new, but over time they can develop balancing issues as the tread wears. Balancing your wheels extends their useful life and reduces strain on the braking system, shocks, and axles.

We attach each wheel to our wheel-balancing machine. This machine spins the wheel and identifies any balance issues. Correctly balanced wheels are balanced at the center, allowing weight to be evenly distributed. If the machine has identified any issues, our technicians add additional weights to the affected tire sections to correct them.
