Chrysler and Dodge Minivans Highlight Seats That Fold into the Cabin Floor Let’s face it – new car shopping as a parent is not the same as it was in your single days. With all the morning commutes, after-school activities, grocery hauls, and weekend trips, versatility is the name of the game when it comes to choosing a new minivan. The Stow ‘N Go® seating system featured on select minivans is your secret weapon for making it through weekly agenda. Here’s what minivans have it. As of model year 2021, the Chrysler Pacifica is technically the only minivan to feature second- and third-row Stow ‘N Go® seating. A more budget-friendly alternative to the Pacifica, the Chrysler Voyager has standard third-row Stow ‘N Go® seating and available second-row storage bins, but no stow-away seats in the mid-row. Production of the Dodge Grand Caravan has ended in 2020, but the minivan classic is another alternative that features both second- and third-row Stow ‘n Go® seating. Read More: How to Use the Stow ‘N Go® Seating and Storage System What is Stow ‘N Go® and Why Is It Better Than Others? Broadly speaking, Stow ‘N Go® is a versatile interior seating and storage system that adapts in a pinch to suit your passenger- and cargo-hauling needs. More specifically, the Stow ‘N Go® system allows you easily to pack away up to two rows of seating beneath the cargo floor, opening up an unobstructed cargo area that’s perfect for hauling large items with pickup truck-like convenience. When the seats aren’t stowed away, the underfloor Stow ‘N Go® seat compartments double as in-floor storage bins for convenient, out-of-sight small-item storage. Competing minivans can only manage to make seats stow away in the third row and they don’t offer nearly as much overall storage space.

New Available All-Wheel Drive in the 2021 Chrysler Pacifica As always, the 2021 Chrysler Pacifica is setting new industry standards with the most advanced AWD system in its class. The new technology makes the Pacifica a pro for taking on the harsh and unpredictable road conditions of the Twin Cities area. If wheels lose traction on ice or snow, the Pacifica’s new AWD system automatically transfers all available engine torque to the wheels that have the most traction. When AWD is not required, the power transfer unit and rear drive module automatically disconnect in order to stop the drive shaft from spinning. This helps to reduce driveline drag and improve overall efficiency. The 2021 Pacifica is the only vehicle in its class that offers this function. And here’s another bonus – the 2021 Pacifica is the only vehicle on the market to offer AWD capability combined with class-exclusive Stow ’n Go® seating. The all-wheel-drive option is available on all gas-powered 2021 Pacifica models. The 2021 Pacifica Hybrid is available with front-wheel drive only.
